Reha-Haptic
Wearable sensing and haptic feedback for intuitive rehabilitation
RehaHaptic is a wearable system designed to support physical rehabilitation through real time muscle sensing and haptic feedback. Instead of relying only on visual instructions, the system lets users feel how their body is performing.
By combining Electrical Impedance Tomography with a haptic feedback strap, the system monitors muscle engagement and provides immediate tactile cues to guide movement. This helps users adjust their posture and improve exercise accuracy, even without direct supervision.
This project explores how sensing and touch can work together to create more intuitive and engaging rehabilitation experiences.
I’ve included the full paper below if you’d like to dive deeper into the system and study.
